It's FRIDAY EVE!

 and... we are also flexing our big National Champion muscles at Tennessee and showing them who's boss in our Tailgate With PINK tweet-off!!!! Olé!

At this VERY moment, Bama has a whopping 6,795 votes!!!!!!! What?!?! That's AH-MAZING! Like, I must go to school with a bunch of rock stars. Who knew.

And because I love all you angels so very much, here's a little love!

 Happy Friday Eve! Go spend it with your best friend. Or the love of your life. Or that snuggly puppy you love so much. Just GO! Seize the day, gorgeous- and do something amazing today.

How I Wear My Pink!

First things first: Today I am so thankful - Sometimes when things out of our control happen, it forces us to step back and take inventory of all that we have. All of our thoughts and prayers here at UA are going out to the people being affected by Hurricane Issac right now.

But on a happier note... GREAT JOB BAMA! So far we are still in the lead to win a Tailgate With Pink this fall! We are putting a whoppin' on Tennessee right now but the competition lasts until next Friday so keep those tweets rolling in! Remember all you need to include is "BAMA" "UA" or "ALABAMA" somewhere in the tweet along with the hashtag #TailgateWithPINK. You are rockstars. Truely. Now keep on rocking and lets remind UT what a Rocky Block feels like!

So I'm going to give you a little personal information about myself... I've had the worst, most annoying cold all week, sniffles and everything. Today when I woke up and saw how dreary it looked outside, all I wanted to do was crawl back in bed. But instead, I decided to go for the "relaxed" look when going to class and chose to wear some PINK!

*Now look how happy I am! See, PINK can solve all the world's problems

 So I paired my hotchacha pink Boyfriend Tee with my favorite pair of classic all black boot Yogas.
I'm also starting to realize that pretty much everything I owned has become a shade of pink since becoming a PINK campus rep... I'm sure a blog post of pictures of it all will come soon when all the pink becomes too much to handle. I guess it is a good problem to have :)

But happy Tuesday loves and don't forget your umbrellas tomorrow!

Puppy Love

Weekend Recap:

 My puppy Lucy came to stay with me in T-Town! Not a whole lot I love more than getting to spend the day with my pup! We had big plans to go down to the River Walk but.......

all Lucy ended up wanting to do was snuggle up with the PINK DOG! I guess everyone needs a little PINK in their lives.

 

 but.... CONGRATS BAMA! We are off to an early lead in our 'tweet-off' against Tennessee to Tailgate With PINK! Keep those tweets rolling in!

New Year, New Roommates

With a new year comes big changes. Just a couple weeks ago I moved into my new condo in Tuscaloosa with a whole new set of roommates. I think that a new place and new roommates can be tough sometimes but fortunately I have been so lucky with two of the greatest roommates ever!

Tonight we decided to throw a little "slumber party" for ourselves complete with the Incredibles, Midnight In Paris, popcorn and of course our favorite comfy PINK gear. Who doesn't love a slumber party with your best friends???

My yoga-lovin' roomie on the left is lounging in PINK's full-zip hoodie in a relaxed purple while my always cool and stylish roomie on the right is working the boyfriend tee with the yoga leggings.

Sounds like a good night to me!

Back to Bama!!

In honor of the first day back at Bama, this is going to be a 'things I love' blog post. Want to know what your Bama PINK Reps are loving right now?? Well here it is!

1. Pastels, High waisted shorts, sailor-style buttons, and gold accessories - so pretty much this entire picture... plus I really wish i had her hair.

 2. Retro-style eye-makeup: bold crease, highlighted brow with liquid liner

3. No explanation needed... and just because I wanted to give you something nice to look at half way through this post :)

4. Stand-out resumes - love this one. All those graphic design classes might just come in handy now.

5. Anything and everything GATSBY! It is absolutely one of my all time favorite books and I can't wait for the movie to come out.

Don't let those Monday blues get you down!

Its Monday and less than 48 hours away from the first day of classes. I know... I hate to see summer go but I'm so happy that everyone is finally back in Tuscaloosa! Check out my comfy-cute outfit from today for a little PINKspiration! All you need is a couple pieces to layer and then you're out the door to class, running errands, or to a friend's house!

So today I layered my black lace PINK bandeau underneath a baby pink slouchy racer-back. Then comes my favorite... the fold-over PINK yoga crop in the cutest Aztec print I've ever seen! Gotta love that Aztec.

How do YOU wear PINK? - There is nothing I love more than being able to turn my favorite pieces of PINK lounge-wear into a cute layered outfit. I layer a slouchy tank with a bandeau and my favorite yoga crop leggings for class but then can never get enough of my PINK full-zip hoodie.

This was on my very first day of trapeze school!

Hobbies/Interests: I looooooove to cook. And when I say cook, I mean COOK. I might as well go ahead and invite you all over for dinner already haha - the more the merrier! I've also just recently started taking flying trapeze lessons. Crazy but definitely fun!

Favorite T-Town Restaurant: Give me Rama Jama's for breakfast and Nick's In The Sticks for dinner and I would be a VERY happy girl.

If you could trade places with any celebrity who would it be? Mila Kunis. Absolutely. Not a doubt in my mind. Or Blake Lively, especially now that she's dating Ryan Reynolds... I'd be okay with that too :)

What inspires you? Traveling to historic places, spending time with my family down in Mobile, discovering local art, fresh flowers, live music, my morning cup of coffee

Favorite class at UA? So hard to choose. I'm such a nerd at heart so I love going to school. I would have to say my first Art History class with Jenny Blount. She is definitely the one who got me excited about art history and encouraged me to study abroad to Florence, Italy last year.

It's middle of August and we just days away from the start of another great year at the University of Alabama! There is something I just love about the start of another school year - from reuniting with my friends to tailgates on the quad, I couldn't be more excited to be back in Tuscaloosa!

Something else to be excited about??? How about all that your Bama PINK campus reps have planned for this year?! My PINK partner Sydney and I (Rebecca) absolutely can't wait to bring PINK NATION to the Capstone.
